Uses
A cell-permeable inhibitor of caspase-9, which exhibits competitive and irreversible inhibition
Biological Activity
Cell-permeable inhibitor of caspase-9. Inhibits MG 132-induced cancer cell death and protects isolated rat hearts against ischemia-reperfusion injury. Neuroprotective following cerebral ischemia in rats in vivo .

Z-LEHD-FMK (0.8 μmol/kg; i.v. for 7 d) protects neurons, glia, myelin, axons, and intracellular organelles in spinal cord injury (SCI) rats[2].
