(S)-2-((S)-2-Amino-3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)propanamido)-4-methylpentanoic Acid is a pharmaceutical agent with ACE inhibitory properties.

in vivo

Tyrosylleucine (YL), administered orally, intracerebroventricularly, or intraperitoneally exhibits a potent antidepressant-like activity in the forced swim and tail suspension tests in na ve mice[1].

Animal Model:Male ddY mice (24-27g)[1]
Dosage:0.1-30mg/kg, i.p.; 0.1-1.0 nmol/mouse, i.c.v.; 30-100mg/kg, p.o.
Administration:Administered orally, intracerebroventricularly, or intraperitoneally
Result:Decreased immobility time after intraperitoneal (1-30mg/kg) and intracerebroventricular (0.3-1 nmol/mouse) administrations in the FST.
Exhibited a potent antidepressant-like activity in the forced swim and tail suspension tests in nave mice.
