Uses

Ladanein is a flavonoids compound isolated from Thymus piperella[1].

Definition

ChEBI: Ladanein is a dimethoxyflavone that is scutellarein in which the hydroxy groups at positions 4' and 7 are replaced by methoxy groups. It is an effective anti-HCV agent. It has a role as a plant metabolite, an antiviral agent and a radical scavenger. It is a dimethoxyflavone and a dihydroxyflavone. It is functionally related to a scutellarein.
