DNP-PEG3-azide Chemical Properties,Uses,Production
Description
DNP-PEG3-azide is a PEG linker containing DNP and azide moieties. DNP is involved in biological applications such as participating in ion transport across membranes. The azide can react with alkynes, DBCO and BCN in copper-catalyzed Click Chemistry reactions. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases the water solubility of the compound in aqueous media.
Uses
DNP-PEG3-azide is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. DNP-PEG3-azide is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
