Cloprop is a herbicide that is now obsolete. It is highly soluble in water and non-volatile. It is moderately toxic to fish. Cloprop also has a low mammalian toxicity, may be carcinogenic and is a skin, eye and respiratory irritant.

General Description
2-(3-Chlorophenoxy)propionic acid is a chiral phenoxy acid herbicide. Enantiomeric resolution of 2-(3-chlorophenoxy)propionic acid has been performed by electrokinetic chromatography using a cyclodextrin as chiral pseudophase (CD-EKC).
