Description

Dimaprit has been shown to be a highly specific histamine H2-receptor agonist. When administered in vitro, it has been shown to relax guinea pig parenchymal strips and tracheal spirals that had been constricted by the H1 receptor agonist, 2-PEA, or by carbachol. Dimaprit2HCl is an inhibitor of NOS1.
