N3-PEG6-tBu Usage And Synthesis
DescriptionAzido-PEG6-t-butyl ester is a PEG molecule consisting of an azide group and a t-butyl ester moiety. he azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry to yield a stable triazole linkage. The t-butyl protected carboxyl group can be deprotected under acidic conditions. The hydrophilic PEG5 spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
UsesAzido-PEG6-Boc is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Azido-PEG6-C2-Boc is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
