N3-PEG4-tBu Usage And Synthesis
DescriptionAzido-PEG4-t-butyl ester is a click chemistry linker containing an azide (N3) and a t-butyl ester moiety. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The azide group is reactive toward alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry . The t-butyl protected carboxyl group can be deprotected under acidic conditions.
UsesAzido-PEG4-Boc is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Azido-PEG4-Boc is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
