| | Anti-PORC-PI-1 Usage And Synthesis |
| Uses | Anti-Cdc45, , is a highly specific rabbit polyclonal antibody that targets DNA replication protein Cdc45 and has been tested for use in Western Blotting. Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:500 dilution from a representative lot detected Cdc45 in 10 µg of HeLa cell lysate. Western Blotting Analysis: A representative lot detected Cdc45 in asynchronous, go synchronized and G1 released CHO cells, immunoprecipitated CDC45 from CHO cells, HeLa and NIH3T3 .
| | Biological Activity | CDC45 (cell division cycle 45) is an essential protein in the initiation of chromosomal DNA replication. It is a component of the multiprotein complex consisting of Cdc6/Cdc18, the minichromosome maintenance proteins (MCMs) and DNA polymerase. It interacts with MCM7 and DNA polymerase α and assists in the loading of DNA polymerase α onto chromatin. It is ubiquitylated and degraded during apoptosis. Deletion of CD45 gene causes DiGeorge syndrome with parathyroid hypoplasia, thymic aplasia, or hypoplasia and congenital cardiac abnormalities. |
