8-Ma-cAMP sodium salt Usage And Synthesis
Uses8-MA-cAMP (8-Methylamino-cAMP) is a cyclic AMP analog that acts as a site-selective PKA agonist with similar affinity for the B site of type I and type II protein kinase A. 8-MA-cAMP is used in conjunction with priming analogs that show site A preference, such as 8-piperidinyl cAMP, to achieve selective stimulation of type I[1].
