Azido-PEG3-CH2CO2Me Usage And Synthesis
DescriptionAzido-PEG3-CH2CO2Me is a crosslinker containing an azide group and methyl ester. The azide group enables Click Chemistry reactions. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. Methyl ester can be hydrolyzed under strong basic condition.
UsesAzido-PEG3-CH2CO2Me is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Azido-PEG3-CH2CO2Me is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
