| Occurrence | An antibiotic alkaloid isolated from the cultures of an unclassified species of Streptomyces,
carbazomycin B has been isolated and characterized as the acetate which forms colourless
needles with m.p. 192-195°C. | | Uses | Carbazomycin B is a bacterial metabolite and can be isolated from Streptomyces. Carbazomycin B is an antifungal and antibacterial agent.
