Vat Brown 25 Usage And Synthesis
Chemical PropertiesPurple-red powder. Insoluble in water. Violet in concentrated sulfuric acid, red when diluted. Reddish-brown in alkaline solution of insurance powder, brown in acidic solution.
UsesVat Brown 25 is mainly used for dyeing cotton fibers and printing cotton fabrics. It has good affinity, moderate leveling properties, and is the reddest shade in the brown spectrum, often used for color matching. It is also used for dyeing viscose fibers and silk.
