Can also be dispersed in water powder or particles. Carotenoids. Unstable to oxygen and light, must be stored in inert gas-filled light-shielding containers. Insoluble in water and glycerol. Very insoluble in ethanol. Slightly soluble in vegetable oil (0.7g/100m1), soluble in chloroform (30g/100m1). Melting point 134～138℃.
