| | Direct Black 19 Usage And Synthesis |
| Uses | Direct Black 19 is one of the main black dye varieties. It is primarily used for dyeing and direct printing on cotton, viscose fibers, and blends of cotton, viscose fibers, and silk or wool fabrics. It mainly dyes black, while gray and black are commonly used for printing. It can also be blended with brown dyes to create various shades of coffee, etc., and is used in small quantities for color adjustment to broaden the color spectrum. When dyeing wool-viscose blended fabrics, it can be dyed in the same bath as Neutral Black BRL for uniform color. It can also be used in the same bath as disperse dyes to dye polyester-viscose blended fabrics. It has good dye uptake but slightly poor migration. After dyeing, it can be treated with fixing agents Y and M, but the color has a slightly greenish hue. Finishing with urea-formaldehyde resin can maintain the color and improve wet fastness. | | Preparation | 4-Nitrobenzenamine (2 Moore) diazo, one in acid conditions, a in alkaline conditions and 4-Amino-5-hydroxynaphthalene-2,7-disulfonic acid (1 Moore) coupling, and then will the nitro reduction, diazotization, again with Benzene-1,3-diamine (2 Moore) coupled. | | Flammability and Explosibility | Non flammable | | Properties and Applications | green and black. Black powder. Soluble in water for green light black, solubility of 100 g/L (80 ℃), slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone. The strong sulfuric acid in the green light for black, dilute red after black precipitation; In nitric acid to dark brown. Dyes and microstructure of sulfuric acid solution 10% red; Add thick sodium hydroxide solution for green light blue. Copper ions in dyeing color shade the green, iron ion a slight change in color. Used in viscose of dyeing and printing. In the cotton knitwear, blankets, flannelette, silk, viscose, silk that the fabric, wool/viscose fiber blend fabrics can be used. Can also be used in leather, paper and electrochemical aluminum color.
