Descriptionm-PEG3-Sulfone-PEG2-acid is a PEG linker containing sulfone and carboxylic acid moieties. The sulfone can react with thiol groups of proteins. The terminal carboxylic acids can react with primary amines in the presence of activators such as EDC and HATU to form stable amide bonds. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the water solubility of the compound in aqueous media.
Usesm-PEG3-Sulfone-PEG3-acid is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1].
