A. Preparation of Intermediate 10a.
To a solution of tert-butyl (1-benzylpyrrolidin-3-yl)methylcarbamate (3.0 g, 10.33 mmol) in EtOAc (100 mL) was added Pd(OH)2/C (0.3 g). The mixture was stirred at room temperature under H2 atmosphere for 3 h. After completion of the reaction, it was filtered through diatomaceous earth.
