UsesMca-PLAQAV-Dpa-RSSSR-NH2 is a fluorescent peptide and as one of fluorescent substrates of TNF-α converting enzyme (TACE; ADAM17), ADAM 9 and ADAM 10. Mca-PLAQAV-Dpa-RSSSR-NH2 is a substrate based on fluorescence resonance energy transfer, and its activity can be determined by the change of fluorescence intensity during pyrolysis[1].
