In addition, lithium bromide-water solution is widely used in absorption refrigeration systems, absorption heat pumps and absorption heat transformers. l-Proline lithium bromide monohydrate (LPLBM) is a promising semi-organic nonlinear optical material. | | Preparation | Lithium bromide is prepared industrially by the reaction of either
lithium hydroxide monohydrate or lithium carbonate with hydrobromic acid, which may
