| Chemical Properties | White solid | | Uses | Oxythiamine (Hydroxythiamin), an analogue of anti-metabolite, can suppress the non-oxidative synthesis of ribose and induce cell apoptosis. Oxythiamine is a thiamine antagonist and inhibits transketolase (TK).
