| | 3-bromo-1H-pyrazolo[4,3-b]pyridine Usage And Synthesis |
| Synthesis | A mixture of 3-fluoro-2-formylpyridine (1.02 g, 8.15 mmol) and hydrazine (2 mL) was heated to 110 C. After 16 h, the reaction mixture was poured onto ice water and extracted with ethyl acetate (3x50 mL). The collected organic layer was washed with brine (100 mL), dried (magnesium sulfate), filtered and concentrated to yield a dark brown oil. |
