| Synthesis | General procedure for the synthesis of 3-bromopyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines from pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines: pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines (1 g, 8.39 mmol) were dissolved in acetonitrile (5 mL), followed by addition of N-bromosuccinimide (NBS, 1.494 g, 8.39 mmol).
