| | N4-METHYL-6-CHLORO-5-NITROPYRIMIDIN-4-AMINE Usage And Synthesis |
| Synthesis | To a stirred solution of 4,6-dichloro-5-nitropyrimidine (1.5 mmol), monomethylamine (0.5 mmol), Pd2(dba)3 (0.01 mmol), R-BINAP (0.03 mmol), and potassium carbonate (0.7 mmol) in toluene (5 mL) was reacted under argon protection for 3.5 hours at room temperature. Upon completion of the reaction, the mixture was filtered and concentrated. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography to afford the target product 6-chloro-N-methyl-5-nitro-4-pyrimidinamine. | | References | [1] Chinese Chemical Letters, 2017, vol. 28, # 3, p. 583 - 587 [2] Patent: EP1598354, 2005, A1.
