| | LUCIFER YELLOW CH DILITHIUM SALT Usage And Synthesis |
| Description | Lucifer Yellow CH is a highly sensitive yellow fluorescent dye widely used in neurobiology, cytology, and molecular biology for cell tracing, studying cell-cell interactions, and visualizing neurons. The dye is suitable for labeling both live and fixed preparations: it has low cytotoxicity, is retained in cells after fixation (e.g., with paraformaldehyde), and is compatible with most immunochemistry protocols. Lucifer Yellow CH has a high quantum yield, is resistant to photobleaching, and is, therefore, ideal for confocal and fluorescence microscopy.
The main dye application:
Working dye concentration: 1–5% (depending on protocol). | | Chemical Properties | ORANGE POWDER | | Uses | Lucifer Yellow CH dilithium salt is a highly fluorescent dye, useful in marking nerve cells. It can be bound to tissue by conventional aldehyde-containing biological fixatives. | | Uses | Lucifer Yellow CH dilithium salt is a highly fluorescent dye. It can also be used as reactant/reagent in synthetic preparation of singlet oxygen-induced furan oxidation for site-specific and chemoselective peptide ligation.
