| Definition | Manganese Stearate is an organo-metallic compound for uses requiring non-aqueous solubility, such as recent solar energy and water treatment applications. Manganese stearate was synthesized by the reaction of stearic acid with sodium hydroxide, and sodium stearate formed with manganese chloride tetrahydrate to form manganese stearate with a melting point of 100-110 °C.
