以4-氰基-4-甲基哌啶-1-羧酸叔丁酯为原料合成4-(氨基甲基)-4-甲基哌啶-1-甲酸叔丁酯的一般步骤：在氢气氛围下（40 psi），将化合物25（1.00 g，4.46 mmol）与Rh/Al2O3催化剂（300 mg，5 wt%，0.14 mmol）在甲醇氨溶液（15 mL，3.5 N NH3在MeOH中）的混合物进行摇动反应。反应完成后，将反应混合物通过硅胶垫过滤，浓缩滤液，得到目标产物化合物26（1.00 g，收率98%）。
