Azido-PEG2-t-Boc-hydrazide Usage And Synthesis
DescriptionAzido-PEG2-t-Boc-hydrazide is a PEG linker containing an azide group and a Boc-protected hydrazide. The azide group allows the reaction with with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry. The Boc can be deprotected under mild acidic conditions to form a reactive hydrazide, which can then be coupled with various carbonyl groups.
UsesAzido-PEG2-hydrazide-Boc is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Azido-PEG2-hydrazide-Boc is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
