| Chemical Properties | Reddish brown powder. Insoluble in water, ethanol, acetone, chloroform, toluene, slightly soluble in o-chlorophenol, pyridine. Reddish brown in concentrated sulfuric acid, produces brownish yellow precipitate after dilution. Dark reddish brown in alkaline insurance powder reducing solution, dark yellow in acidic solution. | | Uses | Vat Orange 11 is mainly used for cotton fabric dyeing and immersion dyeing, as well as direct printing on cotton fabric. It is also used for dyeing and color matching of silk and vinylon. It has good affinity and leveling properties and is an important low-brittleness fabric yellow dye. Slightly soluble in 2-Chlorophenol and Pyridine , insoluble in Etanol, Acetone, Chloroform and Toluene. The strong sulfuric acid to red light brown, dilute light yellow brown after precipitation. Alkaline reduction for dark red light body hidden color brown; Acid reduction for yellow color body hidden. The light is fragile. Mainly used for dyeing cotton roll and dip, the affinity of cotton cloth is good and the levelness of death and the covering power of cotton are good. Can to cotton direct printing. with Villeneuve shade of Pale, coloured silk high affinity, good fastness. Besides using background color outside, a small amount used to spell color.
