| Uses | rose hip oil is emollient. It is also wound-healing and anti-septic. Studies indicate an ability to improve skin hydration, and aid in cases of pruritis and xerosis. It also helps regulate oil gland secretion. Rose hip oil is nourishing and rejuvenating and exhibits strong moisture-retention abilities. Its constituents include very high levels of essential fatty acids, and it is a natural source of retinoic acid.
