Properties and Applications6-Chloro-3-fluoro-pyridine-2-carboxylic acid methyl ester is a kind of pyridinecarboxylic acid derivatives. In connection with two potential groups such as d- and f-electron metal ions, which can be coordinated by pyridinecarboxylic acids, many complexes with various properties were obtained. Depending on the metal ion coordinated by pyridine derivatives the complexes exhibit luminescence, magnetic properties, proteasome inhibition, insulin-mimetic activity, DNA binding ability and antibacterial, antifunginal, insecticidal or plant growth stimulation properties[1].
