Function
To be used as a flavor and stablizer in food industry, anticoagulant, reducer of phlegm and diuretic in pharmaceutical industry. Replacing Sodium Tripolyphosphate, it can act as an auxiliary of non-phosphous detergent. Also be used in fermentation, injection, film developing and electroplation.
Application
1. Food and beverage industry: Sodium citrate is used as flavors, stabilizing agent, buffering agent, chelating agent, nutritional supplement of buttermilk, emulsifying agent and flavoring agent.
2. Pharmaceutical industry: Sodium citrate can be used as anti-blood clotting, apophlegmatisant and diuretics.
3. Detergent industry: Sodium citrate can replace sodium tripolyphosphate as a non-toxic detergent additives.
4. Electroplating Industry: Sodium citrate can be used as Complexing Agent and Buffer.
5. Others: Sodium citrate can also be used in brewing, injection, photography drugs and electroplating etc.
