SORBITAN MONOLAURATE

1.Characteristics

Have a particular smell,slightly soluble in isopropanol, tetrachloroethylene, xylene, cottonseed oil, mineral oil,slightly soluble in liquid paraffin, insoluble in water,dispersed in a milky solution.With the properties of emulsification, lubrication, stability and defoaming, and belongs to W/O type emulsifier.

3. Applications/Usage

Used as W/O emulsifier, stabilizer, lubricants, plasticizers and desiccant in medical and cosmetic industry. Used as softening agent, antistatic agent in textile industry.

Emulsifier for pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, lubricant and synthetic resin, emulsifier and dispersant for color materials. Anti fogging agent for synthetic resin films, deforming agent, emulsifier for silicone resin.

4.Package and Storage

(1)Package: 25kg, 200kg, IBC plastic drum net weight. (Other packages are available upon request.)

(2)Storage: store in cool, dry place in tightly sealed packages, protected from heat and light. It is not a dangerous goods for transportation.

(3)Shelf Life: 1 year. It can still be used if qualified after re-check.
