蛋白精氨酸脱氨基酶4型（PADI4）是一种钙依赖性酶，催化组蛋白等蛋白质精氨酸残基的瓜氨酸化/脱氨基，从而在组蛋白编码和干细胞维持调节中发挥关键作用。PADI4可以与肿瘤抑制因子p53相互作用，调节p53的转录活性。PADI4的失调与多种疾病有关，包括类风湿性关节炎、肿瘤发展和多发性硬化症。
