This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™).

癌胚抗原相关细胞粘附分子5（CEACAM5）亦称癌胚抗原（CEA）、胎粪抗原100、CD抗原CD66e，属于免疫球蛋白超家族及CEA家族。该分子包含七个免疫球蛋白样（Ig-like）结构域，是一种同源二聚体蛋白——大肠杆菌Dr粘附素与其结合后可促使二聚体解离。CEACAM5作为细胞表面糖蛋白，在细胞粘附和细胞内信号传导中发挥作用，同时也是大肠杆菌Dr粘附素的受体。
