This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™).
The protein has a calculated MW of 21.9 kDa. The protein migrates as 28-33 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

白细胞介素33（IL33）又称C9orf26、DKFZp586H0523、DVS27、NF-HEV、NFEHEV、RP11-575C20.2，是属于IL-1超家族的细胞因子。IL-33能诱导辅助T细胞、肥大细胞、嗜酸性粒细胞和嗜碱性粒细胞产生2型细胞因子。其通过与ST2受体（即IL1RL1）及IL-1受体辅助蛋白（IL1RAP）相互作用，激活NF-κB和MAP激酶信号通路中的细胞内分子，促使极化Th2细胞产生2型细胞因子（如IL-5和IL-13），从而介导生物学效应。在体内环境中，IL-33可诱导IL-4、IL-5和IL-13的表达，并导致黏膜器官出现严重病理变化。
