LZ1 Peptide is a linear peptide composed of 15 amino acids, with a high number of guanidine and indole groups in its sequence. LZ1 Peptide has strong antibacterial activity against common acne pathogens such as Propionibacterium acnes, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Staphylococcus aureus. LZ1 Peptide has almost no cytotoxicity towards human keratinocytes and almost no hemolytic activity towards human red blood cells. In addition, LZ1 is very stable in human plasma. LZ1 has potential bactericidal and anti-inflammatory properties, a simple structure, and high stability, making it an ideal candidate drug for treating acne.
