β2-微球蛋白（B2M）是主要组织相容性复合体I类（MHC I类）分子的组成成分，参与将肽抗原呈递给免疫系统。B2M由两个通过二硫键连接的β折叠片组成，在某些病理条件下可形成淀粉样纤维。越来越多的证据表明，肿瘤细胞中B2M基因的改变可能通过阻碍MHC I类分子介导的肿瘤抗原呈递以及帮助肿瘤细胞逃避T细胞识别，从而降低基于T细胞的免疫疗法的疗效。
