背景介绍
CD44抗原是一种参与细胞间相互作用、细胞黏附和迁移的细胞表面糖蛋白。CD44在多种哺乳动物细胞类型中表达。它是透明质酸的受体，也能与其他配体如骨桥蛋白、胶原蛋白和基质金属蛋白酶（MMPs）相互作用。CD44的功能受其翻译后修饰调控。其中一种关键修饰是特定的唾液酸岩藻糖基化，形成CD44的选择素结合糖型，称为HCELL（造血细胞E-选择素/L-选择素配体）。CD44参与多种细胞功能，包括淋巴细胞活化、再循环和归巢、造血以及肿瘤转移。该基因的转录本经历复杂的可变剪接，产生多种功能各异的异构体。
