Vortioxetine (Brintellix) is an antidepressant that works through serotonin reuptake inhibition and direct receptor activity, acting as both a serotonin receptor agonist and antagonist.It is labeled for the treatment of major depressive disorder in adults.
Brintellix/Trintellix (vortioxetine) is approved for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD). Sales grew 10% (13% in local currencies) reaching DKK 3,102 million. The regional distribution of sales was 54%, 19% and 27% in North America, International Markets and Europe, respectively. The largest markets for the product are the U.S., Canada, Spain, Italy and Brazil.
