General procedure: Aqueous solution of TBAH (40% w/w, 18.2mg, 0.0281mmol, obtained from TCI) was added to a stirring solution of O-acylamidoxime 1 (0.281mmol) in THF (0.70ml) and the mixture was stirred at rt for 10min. The resultant solution was directly purified over flash chromatography using 0-20% ethyl acetate/n-hexane as eluent to afford the corresponding 1,2,4-oxadiazole 2.
