Step 4: [0755] To a solution of the product from step 3 of Example 120 (0.595 g, 1.78 mmol) in 20 MeOH (5 mL) was added Pearlman catalyst (0.120 g) and stirred at rt under a H2 (g) atmosphere for 3 h. The catalyst was removed by vacuum filtration and washed with MeOH. It was then concentrated to give a yellow solid (0.400 g, 92% yield): MS m/z 245 (MH+).
