5 Synthesis of compound (22):
Compound (21) (2.5 g, 13 mmol) and potassium carbonate (4.5 g, 32.6 mmol) were dissolved in 80 ml of acetonitrile, and (2.86 mL, 26 mmol) of ethyl mercaptoacetate was added with stirring. The reaction was stirred at 85 degrees for 5 hours. After the reaction was completed, it was cooled to room temperature. After suction filtration, the obtained solid was washed with 25 ml of acetonitrile, then washed with 100 ml of water, and dried in vacuo to obtain 2.8 g (83%) of a pale yellow solid.
