Methyl 2-chloro-2,2-difluoroacetate (CH3O(CO)CF2Cl) was synthesized using 1-chloro-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoro-2-methoxyethane (CH3OCF2CF2Cl) as a starting material by performing the reaction according to the reaction conditions of Example 3. Upon completion of the reaction, the target product methyl 2-chloro-2,2-difluoroacetate was obtained in 67% (1.34 mmol) yield. | [References]
