1-cyanobutyl-3-alkylbenzimidazolium bromide salt by reacting with various N-alkylbenzimidazoles.
Tridecanenitrile by Ni-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction with dioctylzinc in the presence of tetraene and MgBr₂.
