DescriptionFmoc-NH-PEG12-CH2CH2COOH (CAS 1952360-91-6), also known as Fmoc-N-amido-PEG12-acid, Fmoc-NH-PEG(12)-COOH, (Fmoc-amino)-PEG12-C2-Carboxylic Acid and FmocNH-PEG12-CH2CH2COOH, is a PEG linker containing an Fmoc-protected amine and a terminal carboxylic acid. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. The Fmoc group can be deprotected under basic condition to obtain the free amine which can be used for further conjugations. The terminal carboxylic acid can react with primary amine groups in the presence of activators (e.g. EDC, or HATU) to form a stable amide bond.
UsesFmoc-NH-PEG12-CH2CH2COOH is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1].
