MT-1

MT-1, short for α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone analog, is a synthetic peptide hormone drug. By specifically binding to receptors on the surface of melanocytes, it precisely regulates melanin synthesis and distribution, with multiple biological activities including regulating skin pigmentation, anti-inflammation and immune modulation. Clinically, it is mainly used to treat skin diseases such as vitiligo and hypopigmentation, and can also assist in alleviating symptoms of certain inflammatory skin diseases.
