| Description | NITD-688 is a pan-serotype inhibitor targeting the dengue virus NS4B protein, effective through oral administration. It holds potential in dengue virus (DENV) research applications. |
| In vitro | Method: NITD-688 was evaluated in cell-based antiviral assays against dengue-virus serotypes 1–4.
Result: NITD-688 inhibited DENV1–4 with EC50 values ranging from 8 to 38 nM.[1] |
| In vivo | Method: Dengue-infected AG129 mice received oral NITD-688 at 30 mg/kg twice daily for 3 days, beginning either at infection or 48 h after infection; plasma viremia was measured.
Result: Treatment initiated at infection reduced viremia by 1.44 log10, while treatment delayed for 48 h reduced viremia by 1.16 log10.[1] |
