Cardiac depressant (anti-arrhythmic).

in vivo

(+)-Sotalol (8 mg/kg, i.v.) suppresses the induction of ventricular tachyarrhythmias by programmed stimulation in dogs[3].

Dosage:8 mg/kg
Administration:Intravenous injection (i.v.)
Result:Increased normal zone ventricular refractoriness, and prevented propagation of programmed ventricular extra-stimuli of sufficient prematurity to elicit tachyarrhythmias.
