Atrazine is widely used as a selective herbicide to control broadleaf and grassy weeds in corn, sorghum, rangeland, sugarcane, orchards, pineapple, and turf grass sod. It is also used for selective weed control in conifer restoration and Christmas tree plantations. It is also used as a nonselective herbicide for vegetation control in noncrop land.
