| Preparation | a. Dissolve potassium hydroxide in water to prepare a solution for later use; b. Add isooctanoic acid to a reaction flask, and add the solution from step a dropwise over 10-20 minutes, maintaining a pH of 9-12, and gradually raising the temperature to 60-90°C. After the addition is complete, maintain the temperature for 2-3 hours; c. Add a mixed solvent to the prepared solution from step b, stir and extract for 30 minutes, then separate the phases and collect the heavy phase; d. Add a decolorizing agent to the heavy phase solution from step c and maintain the temperature for decolorization for 30 minutes; e. Filter the material from step d and dry it in a spray dryer; f.
